- Step 1: Sign up for a free trial on our web site. You will receive an email from an Oracast Data Protection Service representative that will contain the information you need to install the Oracast DPS client.
- Step 2: Download the Oracast DPS client from our web site and install the application on the computer(s) to be protected.
- Step 3: Using the Oracast DPS client, select the files and folders you want to backup; frequency of backups; time of backups; and how long the backup is retained on our servers. That's all you need to do!
- At the time selected, the Oracast DPS client compresses and encrypts the data, then transfers it to the Oracast data centre.
- If a restore is needed, simply open the Oracast DPS client, select the data to be restored and the restore process begins immediately. The encrypted data is transmitted back to the computer where the Oracast DPS client decrypts and decompresses the data.
